Facebookless for a week and counting.
Oddly enough, it's been much easier than I thought.
Apparently, my last several posts from my blog, Words Words Words, have not been appearing here--getting some sort of weird transport error. Until we get this figured out, the RSS feed is still working at least.
Just preordered this, why because it is awesome

The only person signed onto Facebook is my Music Theory II professor. It's 4:17 am.
Last week: deal with cold.
This week: deal with cat bite. (It hurts to type.)
I took a picture to show the redness and the swelling, but I'm too lazy to post it. It's blurry as heck, anyway.
... sucks. sucks when you need a certain someone there, and they're just.. not available. -_-
Just watched day 5 of torchwood and I am really curious to see where the show will go from here. Will there more to the third season or was the children of earth it for the entire series?
We got our map in the mail the day before for the Seattle Tilth City Chickens Coop Tour, so before we left in the morning I figured out as many directions as I could. You get a list of 23 locations broken into 4 neighborhoods with the recommendation to try to visit 2 of the neighborhoods in the 5 hours of allotted time. Of course there were certain ones in different neighborhoods we wanted to see, so we jumped around a bit and managed to make it to half the locations. It was somewhat comical rushing around like that, but we got to see a huge variety of coops and chickens, and even ducks, goats, and bees. We also saw really awesome houses and yards, and even came across a house decorated with old carousel parts.

Here's the full set on flickr. Yes, I took a lot of pictures.
on the new orleans LJ community, i asked 'does anyone know where i can get hungarian palacsinta?' and someone responded, "when i first saw this, i thought it said 'hungarian placenta'."
So, being a server, occasionally you get a tip from a table that's resting inside of a religious pamphlet, to help you find God. Usually contains $2-$3, which is on the lower end of average for the bill, but not so bad that I want to hate them or anything. I'm used to getting these and I usually just throw them away and ignore it, but... Yesterday, when I got this one, it made me think.
... How disrespectful is that? Seriously. I should go into their place of work and hand out Wicca pamphlets. Wouldn't that person be slightly bothered by this? Maybe I should hand out Muslim pamphlets. Would that bother them? I never took the time to think about it but, yea.. That's awfully disrespectful. *shrug*
